Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of the resident experience
* Offer a professional, yet friendly, atmosphere in the leasing office
* Maintain awareness of the property competitors and contribute ideas to the Property Manager to improve resident retention and satisfaction
* Contact and follow up on renewals, new residents, and work orders
* Answer and handle incoming issues from current residents always offering excellent service
* Create a renewal program to optimize leas renewals and decrease resident turnover
* Create ideas for marketing and events and assist in successful execution of these events
* Plan fun activities for residents
* Develop and execute strategies for optimizing online reputation and resident satisfaction surveys in accordance with goals set by Community Manager
* Must be available for after hours for resident relations and other activities
* Perform other duties and projects as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent; or one year of related experience
* Knowledge of property operations, marketing principles and practices.
* Knowledge of principals and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products of services; this includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques.
* Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, planning and organization, and coordinator of people and resources.
* Skilled with computer hardware and software including, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and industry specific software
* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Physical Requirements:
* May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
* Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
* Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
* May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
* Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
Work Environment:
* This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week
* The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions
