Gannett Fleming TranSystems is seeking a Resident Engineer to join our Construction Services Group in New Jersey! This role follows an onsite work model and presents an exciting opportunity to lead critical construction efforts on large-scale highway and transportation projects.

As a Resident Engineer, you will oversee the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. If you're an experienced professional seeking an opportunity to grow with a team that values expertise and innovation, we'd love to hear from you.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 

* Provide overall leadership and management for construction projects.
* Maintain comprehensive construction project records.
* Oversee interactions with clients and inspection staff on contract change orders, item payments, and material testing.
* Conduct project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
* Develop monthly progress reports.

Qualifications:
What you will bring to our firm:
* Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering.
* Professional Engineering (PE) License in New Jersey.
* 15+ years of experience in construction management.
* Prior experience as an Assistant Resident Engineer or Resident Engineer.
* Experience working with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority or NJDOT.
What we prefer you bring:
* Experience with airport projects.
* Certifications such as Rutgers TCC, NJSAT, ACI (preferred).
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $180,000  per year. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
