One California Responsibilities: Position Summary: The Resident Assistant is responsible for all assigned duties related to the care, well-being and safety of the residents. Responds to residents' needs and provides residents with assistance in daily activities. Assists in orienting and training staff members. Qualifications: Minimum: * One (1) year experience as a resident assistant in an assisted living facility in the past 5 years * American Heart Association Basic Life Support - (BLS-CPR) * First Aid (FAC) * Ability to read, write, understand and communicate clearly in English. * Ability to demonstrate basic math skills. Preferred * Six months experience caring for senior population * Certified Nursing Assistant: CA, (CNA)
