Overview: Rehabilitation Technician UnityPoint Health - Fort Dodge FTE: 0.6 (Part-time, 24 hours per week) Shift: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30pm, every 5th weekend Responsibilities: * Assists therapists in patient preparation and treatment * Ongoing commitment to reducing costs and improving productivity in the rehabilitation department. * Maintains positive relationships with the health care team, patient and family * Completes clerical/secreterial functions within the clinic as requested #FD123 Qualifications: Education: High School Education or GED Experience: Entry level/new graduate acceptable Skills/Abilities: * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Basic knowledge of computer concepts * Ability to meet time frames for work completion * Effective skills for teamwork * Able to read and understand patient care instructions Certification/Course: Maintain Basic Life Support certification
