Overview:
Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center is hiring a full-time rehab aide! The professional assists in the provision of patient care, therapy support and administrative duties as directed by PT, PTA, OTR/L, COTA, SLP in a therapeutic manner which acts to promote the patient's functional ability and lead to improved quality of life.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm
* Saturday rotation every 6 weeks with a day off the week before
Responsibilities:
* setup patient rooms and take vitals, available as a second person to help with transfers lifts
* assist speech therapists with Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) procedures
* take vitals, help create exercise packets, assist rehab team in preparing supplies
* communicate and report back to therapists with patient updates
Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
* Experience: One year of proven patient care experience demonstrating skills appropriate to the position, preferred
