Overview: Location: Poland / Italy Work Arrangement: Remote About the Role The Test Engineer is responsible for writing code and scripts, identifying tools for functional and non-functional tests, and contributing to automated test frameworks to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and products. This role designs test plans, procedures, and code/scripts to accurately assess new products and updates in accordance with product requirements and department quality standards. The Test Engineer collaborates with engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, and software modifications. Your Role Responsibilities - Here's What You'll Do * Develop and maintain moderately complex integration, functional, and non-functional tests, and contribute to automated test frameworks to ensure the holistic quality of the software * Lead the verification of system functionality by executing moderately complex automated and manual tests, analyzing results, and providing recommendations; record test outcomes and report defects in the test repository * Contribute to the implementation of the delivery pipeline, including test automation, test environments, and security * Perform manual testing responsibilities, including the creation of test cases and test plans * Follow the peer code review process for test automation code, completing reviews for peers and incorporating feedback into automated tests * Actively participate in planning, work estimation, solution demos, and reviews Role Essentials - Required Skills * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience * Knowledge of all phases of the test lifecycle and software application testing tools, methodologies, and process frameworks * Experience with test automation and continuous integration tools * Demonstrated experience with build environments, delivery pipelines, and scripting tools * Experience with test design and source control systems What We'd Like to See - Preferred Skills * Experience with Agile frameworks and regression testing methodologies * Experience with database technology and development on Windows/Linux platforms * Good critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills across teams * Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion both independently and within a team environment * Skilled at using original thinking to translate goals into new ideas and design solutions Pay Transparency (annualy) Poland: 144,000 - 223,800 PLN gross Italy: 34,100 - 40,000 Euro About Hyland Hyland is the pioneer of the Content Innovation Cloud(tm), delivering ubiquitous enterprise intelligence to organizations with solutions that unlock actionable insights and drive automation.
