We're hiring a Registered Nurse at St. Luke's Idaho Cardiology Associates Clinic in Meridian!

At St. Luke's Clinic - Idaho Cardiology Associates, the team has over 150 years of combined experience in the treatment of heart disease and offers you comprehensive cardiovascular care. Clinic services include electrophysiology and arrhythmia exams and consultations, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, stress tests, and nuclear cardiology.

What you can expect from this role

* (4) nine-hour shifts, Monday - Friday
* Will require travel between Meridian and Eagle clinic locations
* No weekends or holidays
* Sign on Bonus Available
* Completes clinic stress echo's and nuclear testing
* Triaging symptoms by phone, evaluating and reporting results, and scheduling in hospital procedures
* Continued education/certification opportunities

Qualifications

* Education: Nursing Degree
* Experience: 1 years' experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice

Preferred Qualifications:

* EKG recognition is ideal
* ACLS
* Previous experience in outpatient cardiology, ED, critical care, or telemetry

Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.

* Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. 

* Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments. 

* Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. 

* Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. 

* Manages care of patients. 

* Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. 

* Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. 

* Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model. 

* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree 
* RN's with less than 1 year of RN experience at the time of hire into the RN position must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (ACEN
* Accreditation Commission of Education in Nursing, CCNE -Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education) 
* Experience: 0 years' experience 
* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
