Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: The Children's Hospital of Illinois Pediatric GI Registered Nurse provides specialized clinical support to pediatric gastroenterology providers, with a primary focus on caring for medically complex patients, including those enrolled in in intestinal failure programs. This role supports two primary providers based in the Peoria office and participates in weekly outreach clinics in Moline and Galesburg. The nurse plays a critical role in patient triage, care coordination, patient education, and supporting efficient clinic operations across multiple locations to ensure safe, high-quality, and family-centered care. Patient & Family Education Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Licenses/Certifications: IL RN License * American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Education: BSN * Experience: 6 months experience as an RN in a healthcare environment * Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency * Other requirements/information: Ability to regularly and timely travel between various sites OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
