Overview: At St. Luke's, our dedicated team of Registered Nurse Leads are critical in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. We are current hiring for a RN Lead for the Medical Imaging/Interventional Radiology team in Meridian. What You Can Expect: * Lead for MMC MI Nursing and Pain Management * Scheduled as the Charge Nurse at least 75% of scheduled shifts * Help manage day-of operations to meet patient and department needs * Coordinate breaks and lunches for both MI Nursing and Pain Management Schedule: * Four 10-hour shifts per week * Rotating days * 0700-1730 * No weekends, no holidays Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree * Experience: 3 years' experience * Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross. Preferred Qualifications: * 1+ years' experience in Medical Imaging * Must be self motivated Responsibilities: The Lead Registered Nurse is responsible for providing technical/clinical support to one or more departments/sites. * identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. * Responsible for ensuring patient care needs are met through effective management of staffing resources and operations. * Assists or May be Responsible for scheduling, communication, and clinical decision making. Works with staff to promote resolution of conflicts and counsels staff when clinical practice standards are not met. * Assists with budget planning and clinical needs assessments. * Responsible for training or assignment of training. * Manages care of patients. * Documents care Based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/ or clinical priorities * Advocates for evidence-Based practice care standards and Supports adoption of evidence-Based practices and innovations in care delivery. * Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model. * other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
