The Clinical Support Unit (CSU) is a dynamic department that provides a high quality float experience to the departments and patients we serve. This requires nurses that are energetic, flexible and willing to support the mission of the organization. 

What You Can Expect:

* Full time nights (7p-7:30a)
* You will support three units/skill sets within CSU:  Emergency Room, Medical, Surgical, or possibly Telemetry or Mother/Baby
* The excitement of inter-facility floating between three locations: (Boise, Meridian, and Nampa) or (Boise, Meridian, and Elmore-Mountain Home)
* Self-scheduling (unit & location will be assigned based on day of operational needs)
* 10% differential - once orientation concludes
* Eligible to advance to CSU Level 2 after a year, which requires floating to Boise, Meridan, Nampa, Elmore, and Fruitland (ED only) and includes an additional 2% differential (12% total)
* Sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance available for eligible new hires

Qualifications:

* Education: ASN or BSN Degree

* Experience: 1 year of RN experience in ER

* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice; current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.

* Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
* Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
* Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
* Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
* Manages care of patients.
* Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
* Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
* Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
* RN's with less than 1 year of RN experience at the time of hire into the RN position must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (ACEN
* Accreditation Commission of Education in Nursing, CCNE -Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education)
* Experience: 0 years' experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
