We are currently hiring for a Full-Time (0.9 FTE) Registered Nurse position with Wood River Dermatology Clinic! St. Luke's Wood River community is nestled in the beautiful, mountain town of Ketchum, Idaho. Here you will find the world-renowned Sun Valley resort, our neighboring Sawtooth Recreation Area Headquarters, and many other highly sought after outdoor destinations. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast or simply enjoy small town living, this place has it all. What You Can Expect: The Dermatology clinic in Wood River is a high-volume clinic that strives to provide excellent patient care. This requires an RN who is energetic, flexible, and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment. The RN assists with rooming patients, scribing, assessing wounds, assisting MD with clinic surgical procedures, patient triage, and messages. There is opportunity to perform laser treatments, Photodynamic therapy and work up to the full scope of the RN license. Schedule: 4 days per week, Monday - Friday with one day off - TBD, 8:00a-5:30p. Some half day weekend shifts required! Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs. * Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. * Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments. * Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. * Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. * Manages care of patients. * Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. * Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. * Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model. * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: * Education: Associates of Nursing Degree or Diploma Certificate * RN's with less than 1 year of RN experience, at the time of hire into the RN position, must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (ACEN * Accreditation Commission of Education in Nursing or CNEA * Commission of Nursing Education Accreditation) * Experience: 0 years' experience * Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
