St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking an part time RN Circulator to join our #Amazing Operating Room Surgical Services Team. ** $9k Sign on bonus offered for position (for new hires) 

Schedule:  2 (12) hour shifts and 1 (*) hour shift per pay period- (0.6 FTE, 64 hours per pay period- Evening Shift)  12 hour shift is 11:00am to 11:00pm Monday - Friday, varied days based on surgery schedule.  Some call required: Weekend and holiday in-house shifts are included in work requirements and selected through yearly sign-up schedule. Call response time is 30 minutes. 

The Boise OR has 4 Specialty Service Line Teams:

General/Pediatric (Trauma); St. Luke's is the pediatric trauma center for the state of Idaho

Robotics/Oscopy: Three robots making St. Luke's one of the largest robotic programs in the Northwest

Orthopedics: Specializing in robotic joint surgery, pediatric orthopedic procedures, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma

Neurology: Neurosurgery with BrainLab and Stealth technologies, craniotomies, subdural hematomas, aneurysms, and fusions of the cervical and lumbar spine

Unit Summary

The Boise Operating room serves all specialties outside CVOR and L&D. We are the largest OR in the system and support the highest acuity patient population in Pediatric Trauma, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Robotics, ENT, OMF, Plastics, Urology, Bariatrics and General surgery. We have a fast-paced environment that encourages teamwork and fosters ongoing growth. Our facility is co-located with both the regions Children's Hospital and the Cancer Institute.

Job Description Qualifications:

* Education: Nursing Degree (ADN, Diploma or BSN)
* Experience: 1+ years RN experience in the operating room is required.  
* BLS required- CNOR preferred 

Responsibilities:

* Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
* Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
* Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
* Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
* Manages care of patients.
* Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
* Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
* Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
* Experience: 1+ years RN experience in surgical services/operating room highly preferred.
