We are currently hiring for a Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Registered Nurse with at the Children's Endocrinology Clinic located in Boise at The Children's Pavilion!
What You Can Expect:
As a Children's Endocrinology Clinic RN, you will play a key role in supporting pediatric patients with conditions such as growth hormone deficiencies, short stature, diabetes, and more. Your responsibilities will include rooming patients, assisting with provider visits, and managing in-basket tasks such as triaging patient concerns, handling prior authorizations, and coordinating appeals. This role offers a dynamic mix of direct patient care and administrative duties to support children and families navigating endocrine disorders.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, hours can vary from 7:45a - 4:45p. No weekends/holidays!
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
* Experience: 1 years' experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.
* Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
* Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
* Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
* Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
* Manages care of patients.
* Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
* Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
* Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
