Overview: At St. Luke's, our dedicated team of Registered Nurses are critical in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. What You Can Expect: The RN will provide essential support in clinical triage, referrals, crisis management, patient assessments, and care coordination. This position will also involve administering medications, supporting medical assistants, and participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance patient care. Care Coordination will play a key role in this position, as the RN will collaborate closely with community partners to help connect patients with resources beyond what St. Luke's provides. This is a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting patients both within and outside the healthcare system. Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7a-5p & Friday, 8a-12p. No weekends/holidays! Qualifications: * Education: Nursing Degree * Experience: 1+ years of RN experience * Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross. Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs. * Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. * Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments. * Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. * Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. * Manages care of patients. * Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. * Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. * Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model. * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree * RN's with less than 1 year of RN experience at the time of hire into the RN position must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (ACEN * Accreditation Commission of Education in Nursing, CCNE -Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education) * Experience: 0 years' experience * Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
