Overview: The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) serves as the front-line facilitator and execution arm of the joint business plan for KDP's Coca-Cola Affiliated Sales Organization (CASO) bottling partners, to achieve assigned volume, share, and profit targets across all channels of trade. Reporting to the Divisional Sales Manager, this position will primarily represent Dr PepperTM and, where licensed, may include Big Red, and additional KDP brands that are licensed within the assigned CASO bottlers' territories. The RSM will be required to travel up to 50% of the time within the assigned bottlers' licensed territories. The territory includes parts of Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi, and West Virginia. The main call point location is Nashville, TN. The position is home officed based and must be located in or around the headquarter locations of the following bottler: Coca-Cola Consolidated- Nashville, TN. Position Responsibilities: * Identify, develop, and execute key business building opportunities around availability, distribution, promotion, display, merchandising, and pricing that will support volume and share growth for KDP. * Cultivate productive working relationships with key bottlers and trade contacts within CASO team to grow the KDP Portfolio in assigned territory * Align system resources to implement marketing and operational programs according to plan, schedule, and budget. * Create meaningful relationships with regional activation partners, driving impactful results through marketing initiatives, brand awareness, distribution & availability, and retail activation. * Interface with bottler personnel and KDP National Retail Sales teams to improve retail account penetration for Dr PepperTM and KDP products sold by CASO bottlers while advancing trade execution to gain fair share of retail. * Responsibly support the management of local resources within bottler budgets including initiating local business plans to support KPI objectives. * Develop and implement joint business plans (JBP) which support business objectives, ensure execution of programs, ad schedules, and pricing strategies throughout the network to drive inclusion to bottler aligned programs and business plans. * Leverage consumer insights and partner with bottlers/trade to incorporate them into trimester joint business plans. * Use internal and external data sources for performance analysis and reporting, effectively utilize syndicated data, customer channel data, trade intelligence, and brand facts to support the joint business plans by bottler * Ensure execution of bottler and trade coverage plans to support business plans developed to deliver volume, profit, and customer satisfaction commitments made to key stakeholders during regular business planning. * Work cross-functionally with other CASO divisions, field marketing, commercial planning, KDP national and regional account teams, and assigned bottlers to deliver retailer specific business solutions. * Ensure route to market compliance by increasing distribution on brands and packages while solidifying execution for channel and new account opportunities. * Solve operational or executional issues with customers or bottlers. Responsibilities: * Minimum of 5 years of beverage sales or consumer products experience within a closely related field * Bachelor's degree in a business or sales related field or equivalent experience * A proven track record of performance meeting targets and objectives * Demonstrates exceptional professional agility, tackling new tasks and unfamiliar territory with curiosity * Self-directed, goal-oriented, and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment * Ability to work cross-functionally with a wide range of employees with differing skill sets. * Ability to analyze syndicated data and other internal selling tools to create insights and action for our bottlers * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word * Occasionally perform physical activity as required (merchandising and equipment placing) Qualifications: Keurig Dr Pepper (Nasdaq: KDP) is a leading beverage company with more than 150 owned, licensed and partner brands that meet a wide range of needs and occasions.
