Overview: Summary of Job: The Regional Medical Director is responsible for developing and sustaining relationships and impacting clinical strategies and workflows that promote practice and patient satisfaction while improving value-based healthcare delivery. The Regional Medical Director provides direct clinical services for patients as well as clinical supervision for assigned medical staff. The Regional Medical is responsible for ensuring high quality, efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided. Responsibilities: Facility Description: Mercy Hospital Joplin: A cornerstone of quality medical and surgical care, offering 240 beds. Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), our dedication to excellence is evident. In the latest year, our emergency room attended to 38,712 patients, while our skilled physicians conducted 5,523 surgeries for both inpatients and outpatients. Additionally, we celebrated 1,200 births, cherishing moments of joy and new life. Market: Kansas City, Missouri and Joplin, Missouri. Must be willing to anchor in Joplin for Clinical Time.
