Overview: Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a full-time RegionalFloat Registered Nurse to join our Missouri Regional Float Pool within our Missouri Department of Corrections contract. This person will be required to travel between up to seven different correctional facilities within their assigned region in Missouri. Hotel and mileage will be paid for travel to sites that meet the minimum mileage requirement. Western Region: * Boonville Correctional Center - Boonville, MO * Chillicothe Correctional Center - Chillicothe, MO * Maryville Treatment Center - Maryville, MO * Transition Center of Kansas City - Kansas City, MO * Womens Eastern Reception and Diagnostic Correctional Center - Vandalia, MO * Western Missouri Correctional Center - Cameron, MO * Western Correctional Reception and Diagnostic Correctional Center - St. Joseph, MO Responsibilities: The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient. Qualifications: * Missouri RN license or ability to obtain license * Current CPR * Corrections experience not required * Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
