Regional Float Registered Nurse - Eastern Region

				Overview:

We are currently seeking a full-time Regional Float Registered Nurse to join our Missouri Regional Float Pool within our Missouri Department of Corrections contract. This person will be required to travel between up to seven different correctional facilities within their assigned region in Missouri. Hotel and mileage will be paid for travel to sites that meet the minimum mileage requirement.

Eastern Region: 

* Eastern Reception and Diagnostic Correctional Center - Bonne Terre, MO
* Farmington Correctional Center - Farmington, MO
* Missouri Eastern Correctional Center - Pacific, MO
* Potosi Correctional Center - Mineral Point, MO
* Southeast Correctional Center - Charleston, MO

Responsibilities:

The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.

Qualifications:

* Missouri RN license or ability to obtain license
* Current CPR
* Corrections experience not required
* Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
