Overview: Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a full-time Regional Float Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Missouri Regional Float Pool within our Missouri Department of Corrections contract. This person will be required to travel between up to seven different correctional facilities within their assigned region in Missouri. Hotel and mileage will be paid for travel to sites that meet the minimum mileage requirement. Western Region: * Boonville Correctional Center - Boonville, MO * Chillicothe Correctional Center - Chillicothe, MO * Maryville Treatment Center - Maryville, MO * Transition Center of Kansas City - Kansas City, MO * Womens Eastern Reception and Diagnostic Correctional Center - Vandalia, MO * Western Missouri Correctional Center - Cameron, MO * Western Correctional Reception and Diagnostic Correctional Center - St. Joseph, MO Responsibilities: The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs. Qualifications: * Missouri LPN license or ability to obtain license * Current CPR * Corrections experience not required * Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
