Regional Float Licensed Practical Nurse - Northern Region

				Overview:

Hourly Rate $27-$35 per hour, depending on experience + comprehensive benefits!

We are currently seeking a full-time Regional Float Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Indiana Regional Float Pool within our Indiana Department of Correction contract. This person will be required to travel between up to seven different correctional facilities within their assigned region in Indiana. Mileage and lodging reimbursement available upon meeting the minimum mileage requirement.

Northern Region: 

* Indiana State Prison - Michigan City, IN
* Miami Correctional Facility - Bunker Hill, IN
* Westville Correctional Facility - Westville, IN
* LaPorte Juvenile Correctional Facility - LaPorte, IN
* Logansport Juvenile Correctional Facility - Logansport, IN
* South Bend Re-Entry Facilty - South Bend, IN
* Chain O'Lakes Correctional Facility - Albion, IN

Responsibilities:

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.

Qualifications:

* Indiana LPN license or ability to obtain license
* Current CPR
* Corrections experience not required
* Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
