Responsibilities:

The Field Support Manager will manage all field support technicians and ensure installations and necessary support is provided.

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

* Manage all Field Support Technicians
* Provide installation, service and support to inmate telephones and call control systems.
* Install, test and service software on digital voice recorders, call processing systems and inmate telephones.
* Install, terminate and test LAN/WAN, Category 5 and Fiber Optic cabling.
* Perform routine PMI's.
* Communicate with customer/dispatch on service information.
* Perform physical phone and phone line diagnostics/repairs and telephony integration troubleshooting.
* Perform computer diagnostics and repair.
* On call 24/7 for site to make remote or physical repairs to phones and/or equipment.
* Maintain documentation and communicate clearly with corporate dispatch center.
* Other duties as determined by the needs of the business.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
* Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
* Must have T-1 and analog circuit repair knowledge.
* Must be able to develop good working relationships with facility personnel.
* Service and maintain inmate phone systems at correctional facilities within an assigned region.
* Ability to travel throughout assigned territory as needed.
* Excellent written and verbal skills.
* Strong team oriented business skill.
* Professional attitude in dealing with customers.
* One year of technical education, training or related experience.
