Job Summary

The Regional Director of Account Management at Synchrony Pharmacy is responsible for leading adn overseeing the account management team within an assigned region. This role ensures the successful execution of client relationship strategies, driving retention, service excellence, and business growth across long-term care (LTC) and senior living facility partners. Serves as a key leader in optimizing customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the overall performance of Synchrony Pharmacy's service delivery. 

Roles and Responsibilities

        Develops and supports Account Managers in execution of plan of action to achieve Synchrony Pharmacy Member (SPM) utilization growth goals within assigned territory. 

        Leads business development initiatives that are consistent with the Company's overall growth strategy. 

        Communicates routinely with Synchrony Pharmacy leadership and business development team within assigned territory to communicate any changes in key statff members, facility ownership, or other pertinent information that may results in additional business. 

        Conducts regular on-site visits within the assigned terrority alongside Account Management team members to assess client needs, strengthen relationships, and provide hands-on coaching and support.

        Participates in key customer engagement initiatives, including Family Nights and Community Outreach events, to enhance visibility and service excellence.

        Leads the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of the Account Management team, focusing on best practices, regulatory compliance, strategic client engagement, and service optimization. 

        Partners with Pharmacy leadership team to develop and execute Business Reviews, as appropriate.

        Owns Customer Service Satisfaction Surveys and partners with Operations to incorporate feedback into service enhancements. 

        Approves and monitors assigned team members' monthly expenses. 

        Manages strategy to grow Synchrony Meds to Home program. 

        Proactively assess, validate, and champion client priorities with Senior Leadership. 

        Stays abreast of the industry, including legislative changes, mergers and acquisitions, new partnerships, and competitor capabilities. 

        Continuously evaluates team's performance toward the Company's pillar goals, business unit priorities, and other goals set forth by Senior Leadership. 

        Participates in Regional industry trade shows as required.

        Develops sales and marketing plan to achieve growth goals for pharmacy SPM, in conjunction with Company's overall growth objectives, within assigned territory. 

       Leads business development initiatives that are consistent with the Company's overall growth strategy. 

        Ability to meet new business development quotas as assigned to achieve sales goals for assigned territory.

        Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Education:  Bachelor Degree

Experience:  5-8 years

Licenses and Certifications

Three or more years of Sales experience preferred

Minimum of three years in Account Management with Long-Term Care Pharmacy or Senior Housing Industry preferred 

Physical Requirements

Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
