				Overview:

Special Projects Business Office Manager needed to support our TN Facilities!

Must reside in TN and be willing to travel overnight

* Responsible for acting as interim facility Business Office Manager when vacancies occur, as well as providing the interim support with focus on AR and collections.
* This includes providing the business office staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to complete all tasks assigned.
* Evaluate efficiency, accuracy, and productivity of all office staff in collaboration with the REBOC and Controller and requirements set forth by Medicaid and Medicare.

Responsibilities:

* Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance work flow, and/or improve the work environment.
* Assist the Regional Business Office Consultant (REBOC) with on-boarding and training of new Business Office staff.
* Act as a role model in the execution of business office policies, procedures, and daily functions.
* Evaluate accuracy of billing under Medicaid and Medicare guidelines set forth by state and federal government.
* Identify areas of concern and effectively communicate information with REBOC.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the accounts receivable process and make recommendations for improvement when applicable.
* Assist in evaluating issues of poor performance and effectively communicate to the REBOC.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field or combination of education and experience.
* Minimum of three (3) years' experience in accounts receivable or as a Business Office Manager;
* Minimum of 1 years' experience in long term care experience required
* Knowledge and experience with long term care accounts receivable practices.
* Working knowledge of long-term care regulations, as well as knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid (including other third party insurance companies) billing practices.
* Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
* Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.
