Responsibilities:
Region Director Staffing Operations
The Region Director - Staffing Operations oversees the deployment of clinical resources throughout the Central Region. In addition, this leader is the regional expert for staffing operations, external agency sourcing and placement, and unit/hospital staffing plans/operations. This role networks with market and hospital leadership to ensure staffing plans are efficient and executed in a similar manner.
Responsible for development of staffing strategy and action plans in collaboration with regional nursing and operational leadership.
Serves as a regional support for facilitating appropriate staff allocation based on data analytics.
Closely collaborate with direct and matrix partners across the region regarding operational and strategic staffing policies
Leads all operations and business relationships with external travel agencies.
Oversees international employee program - all disciplines to include the hiring, on-boarding, and competency validation of international staff. Works closely with market and hospital leadership to ensure international resources are deployed successfully.
Complies with internal and external regulations and policies and procedures. Identifies areas of non-compliance and assists in resolution. Supports and demonstrates leadership in achieving strategic goals.
Provides leadership for the IT systems and software that impact staffing operations - including but not limited to timekeeping and acuity-based tracking systems.
Actively participates and supports development of departmental budget and demonstrates effective stewardship to budget.
Participates in accreditation and licensure activities related to staffing.
Works collaboratively with Marketing, Communications and Public Relations to develop marketing and communication tactics that support recruitment and retention strategies and direction.
