Overview: The Talent Acquisition team at PHS is committed to fostering a fair, consistent, and effective hiring experience across the organization. We're seeking a detail-oriented Recruiter to support internal talent movement and employee transfers across the organization. This role is pivotal in supporting our internal mobility strategy, ensuring a seamless experience for employees exploring new opportunities within Presbyterian. This position is intended to be conducted within the state of New Mexico. The position will have a hybrid on-site schedule. Responsibilities: * Coordinates the process for hiring people in accordance with PHS employee policy and procedures and in compliance to the affirmative action plan. * Develops a recruitment plan for each posted position in consultation with hiring authority. * Develops and maintains a retention plan in consultation with hiring authority and HR Manager. * Accepts, screens, interviews and refers appropriate qualified applicants to hiring authority. * Supports the vision, values, and purpose of PHS strategies. * Assists with the preparation of print and web advertisements on a local and national level to meet recruitment needs for routine and specialized positions. * Evaluates capabilities of candidates and negotiates starting salaries in accordance with compensation guidelines. * Have in-depth knowledge of system to be able to recommend hiring decisions. * Represents PHS on a local, regional, and national level in recruitment events. * Provides inservice and training related to employment processes at PHS, both internally to HR and externally to managers. * Works on development of overall strategies and recruitment planning for areas of responsibilities, in conjunction with Recruitment Advertising firm. * Develops and implements new programs to assist in recruitment efforts, in conjunction with managers. * Works with department managers to develop retention strategies and programs. * Develops visitation plans for college recruitment. * Advises PHS/PHP leadership and hiring managers on individual and group equity placements, new hire salary placements based on Compensation philosophy. * Collaborates with HR Compensation to execute offers based on new pay program to include updated equity oversite. * Coordinates with Compensation team and hiring manager to notify team of minimum qualifications that may no longer attract applicants. Educates management and HR staff on job profile content and associated qualifications. * Track and monitor time to fill, offer declines due to pay, candidate flow, number of openings. and sourcing efforts. * Represents the Human Resources department at committee, task group, and departmental meetings. Works on related assignments and projects. Interacts with various levels of leadership, professionals, and employees. * Continually evaluates and recommends new methods to attract, retain and motivate PHS employees. * Regularly monitors and provides analysis of key Talent Acquisition statistics, data, trends, and best practices for their customer group with regular formal reporting to assist the customer group in making data driven human resource decisions and for more effective planning. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business, health or related field required OR six (6) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. * Two (2) to four (4) years of relevant experience. * Strong analytical decision-making skills. * Requires computer proficiency skills in MS Office applications. * Strong customer service experience. * Prior experience in healthcare talent acquisition preferred.
