Summary:

The Receiving Administrator is responsible for the monitoring of receiving issues reported through the intercompany receiving portal and coordinating resolution of the issues in a timely manner.  Will collaborate cross functionally with buyers, warehouse operations, accounts payable and supplier partners to resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies. The Receiving Administrator should strive to establish and uphold mutually beneficial relationships with vendors and internal and external customers. They will continually expand their knowledge of product, industry and systems.

Responsibilities:

Organizational Impact: 

As the Receiving Administrator, you hold a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our receiving processes, directly impacting our supply chain efficiency and financial accuracy. By monitoring and resolving receiving issues promptly, you facilitate smooth collaboration across various departments, including buyers, warehouse operations, accounts payable, and supplier partners, enhancing overall workflow and minimizing discrepancies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

* Monitor Receiving issue log and report discrepancies to supplier partners for resolution
* Coordinate resolution of receiving discrepancies with warehouse operations, buyers and supplier partners
* Work with Accounting personnel to research and approve payment or alternative resolution on invoice discrepancies
* Works closely with the Distribution/Warehouse teams to provide notification when priority orders are set to deliver. Resolve receiving discrepancies by coordinating with Warehouse teams and Vendors where appropriate.
* Lead weekly escalation call and lead escalation activity to resolve aging/urgent discrepancies.
* Successfully perform other administrative duties as assigned
* Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner that is consistent with the Company's policies and procedures
* Additional job duties as assigned

Skills/Experience Required:

* Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations or business-related field preferred
* Knowledge of distribution workflow preferred
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Ability to problem-solve and think analytically
* Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
* Results driven, self-motivated and able to work independently
* Customer-orientated
* Detail-oriented
* Effective written and oral communication
