Responsibilities:
* Revenue and Margin Analysis: Collaborate with the finance team to track and analyze revenue streams and margin opportunities, focusing on discounts, promotions, rebates, and other incentives across EMEA.
* Holistic Reporting and Insights: Provide comprehensive reports and insights to support business decisions that effectively manage and improve margins.
* Influence and Collaboration: As you gain expertise, you'll have the chance to influence finance and commercial colleagues, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
* Rebate and Incentive Tracking: Develop a strong understanding of rebate, promotion, and incentive structures, ensuring accurate tracking and analysis.
* Channel and Distribution Knowledge: Acquire in-depth knowledge of EMEA distribution channels, policies, contracts, and partner program structures.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Distribution Sales, Channel Operations, and Product Sales teams to support business objectives.
* Promotion Committee Participation: Engage in promotion committee meetings, analyze proposed promotions, and present insights to aid decision-making.
* Forecasting and Budgeting: Contribute to forecasting accuracy, target setting, and budget creation, while working on KPIs, metrics, and variance analysis.
* Financial Modeling and Analysis: Utilize historical data and market trends to perform financial modeling, offering valuable insights and recommendations.
* Project Involvement: Participate in cross-functional and finance projects, assisting in the development of new dashboards, tools, and process improvements.
* Reporting and Audit Support: Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly rebate forecasts and reports, and serve as a contact point for external audits on rebate accruals.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in finance or commercial finance, particularly in roles involving revenue, discounts, promotions, and rebates.
* Excellent Excel skills
* Strong analytical skills and a high degree of accuracy.
* Excellent communication skills for collaboration across various functions.
* Database management; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
