Responsibilities: The India Restart Program is designed to bridge the skill gap for individuals re-entering the workforce after a career break of 2 years or more. The program empowers participants to rebuild confidence, refresh their capabilities, and thrive in technology careers through targeted upskilling and support. * For individuals eager to restart their careers after a break of 2 years or more. * An immersive six-month program providing an opportunity to work on technology teams with a designed project plan. * All participants are paired with a dedicated mentor to ensure guidance throughout the program. * To maximise learning and collaboration, this program requires being in our Bengaluru office. * A stipend of INR 50,000 is provided every month for the onboarded candidate. * Option for full-time conversion based on performance and business requirements at the conclusion of the program. We are looking for a ReStart Consultant with a passion for exploring new tools and prototyping new ideas. In this role, you'll contribute to building scalable and secure shared-service capabilities that facilitate regulatory compliance for higher education institutions. You will work with Ellucian's platform components such as Data Connect as well as AWS cloud infrastructure like Lambda and Elastic Container Service, requiring strong skills in C#, TypeScript, REST APIs, and familiarity with basic CI/CD practices. This role is ideal for early-career engineers eager to learn, lead from where they are, and contribute to meaningful technology while being mentored and supported in a growth-driven environment. Where You Will Make an Impact * Develop, test, and maintain shared-service capabilities using TypeScript and AWS Lambda. * Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Test Engineers to deliver performant and reliable services. * Integrate these new services into existing codebases, working with C# and Envision Basic, verifying a consistent experience by end users. * Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies, learning best practices and contributing constructively. * Debug and troubleshoot technical issues in both development and production environments. * Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate documentation and unit/integration tests. * Learn and apply architectural patterns, system design, and performance optimization techniques. * Follow best practices for security, accessibility, and compliance standards. * Contribute to a team culture centered around knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and collaborative growth. What You Will Bring * 2+ years of experience in modern web service development. * Strong foundational knowledge in C# or TypeScript, with hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure. * Understanding of REST APIs, monitoring (DataDog), and CI/CD workflows (Jenkins). * Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, TFS), Agile methodologies, and cloud environments is a plus. * Experience with Integration Tests and Test-Driven Development * Working knowledge of object-oriented and basic functional programming idioms * Ability to write quality documentations in support of their development practices. * Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional, remote-friendly environment. * Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to take initiative and grow. #LI-VS1 #LI-Onsite
