				Overview:

Responsibilities:

* Candidates must have at least two years of experience in an airline airport operation, specifically in a management or supervisory role within an airline ground handling operation
* Excellent communication, organizational, task prioritization, and problem-solving skills
*  Strong people and employee-relation skills
* Self-motivated and goal-oriented
* Adapt to a fast paced, time-critical, and stressful environment
* Establish and maintain solid business relationships and good rapport within all areas of responsibility
* Knowledge and understanding of SkyWest Airlines' policies and procedures
* Proficient in partner-dedicated computer systems
* Knowledge of airline ramp operations and a thorough understanding of SkyWest and Flying Partner policies and goals
* Be at least 18 years old
* Possess a valid unrestricted state-issued driver's license
* Have a High School Diploma or GED

* Able to pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
* Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
* Flexible schedule required. Willing to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays 

Qualifications:

We are seeking driven, dedicated, and professional aviation candidates who possess a diverse range of managerial, relationship, and customer service skills. This is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position.

* Maintain compliance with all governing rules and regulations regarding safety and security in the airline industry
* Maintain the development of Ramp/Station Operations leadership teams with emphasis on consistency, mentor-ship, and overall cohesiveness in support of department employees and operation as a whole
* Lead by example to promote SkyWest Guiding Principals
* Promote awareness and local initiatives that support established partner and company policies, prioritizing the maintenance of a culture focusing on safety and operational performance 
* Maintain effective communication and develop strong relationships with all SkyWest departments, stations, Flying Partners, vendors, and associated agencies
* Guarantee compliance with all SkyWest, partner, and regulatory operating standards and procedures
* Understand and uphold SkyWest and Flying Partner's performance expectations
* Oversee and maintain budgets, shift bids, internal and external performance goals, and inventory control
* Organize and coordinate staff meetings and briefings; attend internal and external stakeholder meetings
* Conduct and oversee employee evaluations
* Travel to necessary training and meetings
