One California Responsibilities: As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction. To be successful in this role, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in work-flow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses. * Transfers and positions patients. * Independently performs all diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department standards and in keeping with the orders of the referring physician. * Provides protection in accordance with prescribed safety procedures. * Accepts responsibility for filming and developing examinations, including laser printing. * Interviews patients for pertinent medical history and obtains consents on patients prior to performing studies as required. Qualifications: Required * More than 6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist. * Medical Radiographer: CA, upon hire * Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire * Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA, within 6 - months * Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire or * Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry, upon hire or * Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire or * Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, upon hire or * Registered Technologist Mammography, upon hire or * Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, upon hire or * Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, upon hire or * Registered Technologist Quality Management, upon hire or * Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy, upon hire or * Registered Technologist Vascualr Inteventional Rad, upon hire or * Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography, upon hire
