Overview: CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, part of CommonSpirit Heath, a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood, Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care, assisted and residential living communities, community health services organizations, home health agencies, and numerous outpatient facilities. Responsibilities: As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction. To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses. * Utilizes innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family. * Acts professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience. * Correctly operates fixed x-ray equipment, portable x-ray machines, and C-arms. * Obtains quality radiographs of all body parts using proper exposure, markers and shielding. * Able to utilize electronic health record. * Able to utilize PACs system and all the essential functions of the system. Qualifications: Required * Associate's Degree (2 year program) or equivalent and * Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology * Medical Radiographer: North Dakota, upon hire and * Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, within 12 - months and * American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
