What You Can Expect: * Schedule: Full time, Friday-Sunday, 3 12-hour shifts *special weekend pay differential eligible! * Call available but not required. * 8 Radiologic Technologist on the team. * Average 40 exams/ 24 hours including Fluoroscopic exams, General Outpatient, Emergency, and In-patient. * Rotation from a Hospital Setting to an Urgent Care Setting. * Equipment: CareStream, Siemens Agile Max with 2 Portable x-ray units, 1 General Radiology room, 1 Fluoroscopic/Rad room * Opportunity to cross train into CT or DEXA! * Elmore prides itself in low patient volume ratios that supports a healthy work-life balance, a family-oriented atmosphere with exceptional teamwork and a willingness to always help colleagues. Minimum Qualifications for this Role: * Education: Associate degree or experience in lieu of degree * Licenses/Certifications: * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross. * American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Responsibilities: The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, acquires and analyzes data needed for diagnosis at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Independently operates x-ray equipment for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purposes. * Technologists will educate patient, family or provider as to the extent and detail of each procedure, including informed consent as well as pre-and post-procedure instructions. * Technologist is responsible for the preparation of an adequate, complete, and current medical record for every individual evaluated or treated as a patient. Records must contain sufficient information to identify the patient, support the diagnosis, justify the treatment and document in the electronic health record. * Practice radiation safety guidelines specific to ALARA policy (As Low As Reasonably Achievable). * Participate in call rotation as needed. * Performs daily quality control and equipment inspections as required. * Prepares patient, room, and operates all fluoroscopy and or portable fluoroscopy equipment without supervision. * Assist provider during a variety of invasive procedures. * Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: * Education: Associate degree or experience in lieu of degree * Experience: 0 years relevant experience * Licenses/Certifications: * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross. * American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
