What You Can Expect:
* Schedule: Full time position split between East Family Health Clinic (EFH) and Parkcenter Clinic (PKC).
* EFH shift hours are 0800-1700 (3 shifts per week) Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday OR Tuesday, Thursday, Friday pending candidate preference.
* PKC shift hours are 0800-2000 (1 shift per week) Saturdays preferred but can be variable. EFH is closed holidays and weekends. PKC is open holidays and weekends (excluding Christmas Day).
* No on call required!
* Between 5 to 15 X-ray exams a day at EFH and 15 to 30 X-ray exams a day at PKC. These clinics accommodate walk in outpatient X-rays for local family physicians, chiropractic needs, and urgent care.
* Digital Carestream X-ray suite

Minimum Qualifications for this Role:
* Education: Associate degree or experience in lieu of degree
* Licenses/Certifications:
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
Responsibilities:
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, acquires and analyzes data needed for diagnosis at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Independently operates x-ray equipment for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purposes.
* Technologists will educate patient, family or provider as to the extent and detail of each procedure, including informed consent as well as pre-and post-procedure instructions.
* Technologist is responsible for the preparation of an adequate, complete, and current medical record for every individual evaluated or treated as a patient. Records must contain sufficient information to identify the patient, support the diagnosis, justify the treatment and document in the electronic health record.
* Practice radiation safety guidelines specific to ALARA policy (As Low As Reasonably Achievable).
* Participate in call rotation as needed.
* Performs daily quality control and equipment inspections as required.
* Prepares patient, room, and operates all fluoroscopy and or portable fluoroscopy equipment without supervision.
* Assist provider during a variety of invasive procedures.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
