Settings include but are not limited to the ED, OR, IR, inpatient and outpatient, with little or no supervision. * Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others. * Displays competency performing procedures; follows every step for taking an x-ray (two patient identifier, gel in/gel out, etc). * Always produces high quality films. Accurately marks radiographs with R's and L's, supine and upright (if appropriate); and assures that patient information is clearly visible. * Competent in one or more areas of Diagnostic Radiology (fluoro, portables, OR, Litho, ED/Trauma) * Understands the interrelation and operates the various computer systems such as RCO, Radnet, PACS and other hospital systems Qualifications: Minimum High School Diploma/GED Completion of approved American College of Radiology: Radiologic Technologist Program AZ DHS Bureau of Special Licensing MRAD:AZ - Certified Radiologic Technologist American Registry of Radiologic Technologist American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Preferred Six months radiology experience
