Shift: Full-Time, 4-10 hour days, 40 hours/week, with on-call 1-2 days a week and every 3rd weekend

As a Radiology Technologist, you'll be at the forefront of heart health, delivering direct, specialized care alongside a dedicated team in our state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Operating and maintaining advanced cardiac imaging equipment, you'll play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating heart disease. Your expertise will assist vascular surgeons and cardiologists during critical procedures, including scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating duties. Your contributions will directly enhance patient outcomes, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure high satisfaction levels among patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

* Provides direct patient care.
* Performs various duties related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including scrubbing, monitoring and circulation duties.
* Demonstrates the ability to meet the department's work schedule.
* Takes emergency call as scheduled. The position requires on-call. Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of call-in when on a call shift.
* Must own a telecom device capable of receiving call-in page.
* Communicates effectively with other team members, including physicians, nurse, cardiovascular technicians, clinical partners, unit secretaries, and effectively with patients and families.
* Demonstrates self-development by keeping abreast of various trends in invasive vascular and cardiology and is proficient with new techniques.
* Demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer service by striving to exceed customer expectations.
* Integrates and demonstrates FOCUS Values and Expectations for personal and service excellence to guide professional behaviors, while adhering to the policies and procedures of UPH-DM.

Qualifications:

Education:

* Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program

Certifications/License:

* IA State Permit to Practice
* AART certified
* ACLS (within 6 months of hire)

Experience:

* New Grads to Experienced Radiology Technologists
