What You Can Expect:

* Full time, weekdays, 72 hours per pay period.
* On call required with low call back rates.
* Average daily patient count around 20-40.
* Varian True Beam and Novalis equipment. Siemens CT Sim on site. 
* Twin Falls serves a large radius of rural populations which allows therapists to utilize specialty treatments such as stereotactic treatments when appropriate. 
* Strong safety culture and continued work to maintain process improvement to mitigate unnecessary errors.

Minimum Qualifications for this Role:

* Education: Associates degree or experience in lieu of degree
* Licenses/Certifications:
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy.

Responsibilities:

* Interpret and implement prescription, treatment plan and plan of care as directed by the radiation oncologist.
* Updates patient records with radiation dosage given.
* Maintains and operates radiation therapy equipment.
* Determine the impact of therapeutic interventions on the patient's condition and recognizes the patient progress towards meeting desired outcomes.
* Communicates well in times of high stress whether related to patient issues or machine issues.
* Documents care based on standards of care and practice.
* May performs simulation procedures for patient diagnosis, disease stage and physician prescriptions.
* Performs scheduled treatment chart checks and audits.
* Serve as a role model and mentor.
* May assist in the clinical training and orientation of staff.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

* Education: Associates degree or experience in lieu of degree
* Experience: 0 years relevant experience.
* Licenses/Certifications:
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy.
