The Wound Healing Center is a specialized outpatient department where nurses play a vital role in delivering expert care to patients with acute and chronic wounds and ostomy needs. Our nursing team is at the center of patient healing-combining clinical expertise, compassionate care, and patient education to achieve optimal outcomes.

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, cost‑effective approach to wound healing through collaboration with a multi‑disciplinary care team. Nurses in the Wound Healing Center are responsible for skilled wound assessments, implementing evidence‑based treatment plans, assisting with advanced wound therapies, and supporting prevention of wound recurrence. Just as importantly, our nurses educate and empower patients and caregivers, helping them confidently manage care beyond the clinic.

This outpatient setting offers nurses the opportunity to care for complex conditions while building lasting patient relationships-without the demands of inpatient shift work. Team members work in a supportive, specialized environment focused on clinical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
