Depending on your location, you may be eligible for up to $8,000 in relocation assistance! * The schedule for this position is three 12-hour shifts per week(7pm-7am) * Our Night Shift positions qualify for a $5.75/hr differential from 11pm to 7am! 6th Floor Medical Surgical: The 6th Floor Medical Surgical department at St. Anthony Hospital is a medical surgical floor specializing in trauma, surgery, and oncology with 36 beds. Primarily, we care for trauma patients with blunt abdominal/chest traumas after car accidents, falls, and mountain activities such as skiing, mountain biking and hiking injuries. We care for patients requiring mostly abdominal surgeries including appendectomies, colon resections, hernia repairs and serve as the overflow for orthopedic trauma patients including those with hip fractures and tib/fib fractures. We care for cancer patients, administering chemotherapy and treating neutropenics, accounting for about 10% of our current patient load. Being a part of a Magnet(r) designated hosoital, our mission is to provide the highest level of nursing care in a compassionate manner in order to improve our patients' lives. Weekend Option Commitment & Differential * RN Weekend Option position requires six month commitment to working weekend schedule. $10/hr weekend option differential applies for Saturday and Sunday shifts. Qualifications: In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Education Requirements * Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement * Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred * Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs Experience Requirements * One year experience, required * Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty Licenses/Certification Requirements * RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact Physical Requirements * Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
