RN-Vascular and Interventional Radiology Holding

				Overview:

Eligible for $10,000 Sign-on Bonus!

$5/hr Evening Differential

$7.50/hr Night/Weekend Differential

The Interventional Lab RN delivers specialized care and treatment to patients undergoing interventional/vascular procedures.  The staff is on-call for off shifts/weekends as scheduled.  Staff must be able to respond to the hospital's call and be at the hospital in 20 minutes.

Responsibilities:

* Able to take call based on "on-call" policy.
* Strong EKG rhythm interpretation skills.
* Ability to provide leadership in Emergency or Code Blue roles.
* Maintain ability to perform in an assertive yet supportive manner when functioning with physicians in the procedural setting.
* Maintain knowledge of patient equipment and therapeutic modalities utilized in the Cath Lab.
* Maintain knowledge of medications and conscious sedation used in the Cath Lab.
* Complies with department policies regarding appropriate sterile technique and radiation safety.
* Participate in education, community activities and performance improvement projects.
* Oversees maintenance and provides troubleshooting of equipment.

Qualifications:

Licensed RN in state of Iowa or compact state.

Experience in critical care, telemetry and/or cardiovascular.

BLS and CORE certification.
