Responsibilities:

As our Staff Nurse, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

* Contributes to the realization of the Mission by integrating the CHW Core Values into daily work performance.
* Ensures a professional and responsive atmosphere by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and physicians promptly and courteously. Refers to each individual by name when appropriate.
* Participates actively in the staffing needs of the department and hospital.
* Performs assessment utilizing professional nursing knowledge and skills. Appropriately assess for: a)Physical and psychosocial emotional needs b)Basic respiratory status c)Hemodynamic status d)Neurologic status e)Age related needs f)Cultural needs
* Perform initial and ongoing collection and reassessment of data focusing on biophysical, psychological, environmental, selfcare education and discharge preparedness.
* Participates with admission into OR and transfer to PACU / ICU.

Qualifications:

Required

* Graduation from an accredited program of professional nursing. and One (1) year of previous clinical experience within the past three (3) years in an Operating Room setting in an acute care hospital. , upon hire and
* Clinical experience requirement may be waived for candidates applying for the new entry/new grad/Periop 101 programs. and
* Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and
* Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and

* Bachelors Of Science Nursing, upon hire and
* Successful completion of a post-graduate perioperative training program , upon hire
