St. Luke's Fruitland Emergency Department is in the West Treasure Valley and our only stand-alone emergency facility. Fruitland is a scenic rural town snuggled along 
the Snake River. It has many orchards that remain in the area adding to the country charm. The small rural community is part of an area that is growing and gives a small town feel with lots of amenities in town or just across the bridge in Oregon. Ongoing commercial development brings new jobs and growth to the area. The housing market remains stable compared to other areas of growth.

What you can expect from this role

* Work as Team Lead RN based in the Emergency Department
* Teach/mentor RNs in de-escalation techniques, restraint protocols, safety, psychopharmacology and other behavioral health topics 
* May do chart audits for restraint documentation
* This is a 1.0 Full-time Midshift (1000-2230); 3 x 12 hour shifts and a 4 hour admin day per week
* Certification pay available

Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
* Experience: 3 years' experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities:

The Lead Registered Nurse is responsible for providing technical/clinical support to one or more departments/sites.

* identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

* Responsible for ensuring patient care needs are met through effective management of staffing resources and operations.

* Assists or May be Responsible for scheduling, communication, and clinical decision making. Works with staff to promote resolution of conflicts and counsels staff when clinical practice standards are not met.

* Assists with budget planning and clinical needs assessments.

* Responsible for training or assignment of training.

* Manages care of patients.

* Documents care Based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/ or clinical priorities

* Advocates for evidence-Based practice care standards and Supports adoption of evidence-Based practices and innovations in care delivery.

* Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.

* other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
