Are you a passionate RN with a knack for detail and a commitment to quality?  Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Peer Review team. This hybrid position offers the best of both worlds - the collaboration of an office environment and the flexibility of remote work.

Make a Real Difference:

As a Peer Review RN, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care. You'll be instrumental in:

*  Improving Patient Safety:  Identify and address clinical performance and unprofessional conduct issues through thorough reviews of medical records, reports, and other documentation.
*  Mentoring and Supporting Providers: Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to facilitate improvement in individual performance and clinical documentation.
*  Driving Systemic Change: Analyze data, identify trends, and contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance quality of care initiatives.
*  Shaping Policy: Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our peer review processes.

Responsibilities include:

*  Executing peer review screenings based on established quality indicators.
*  Reviewing medical documentation to identify areas of concern.
*  Analyzing clinical cases and escalating issues as needed.
*  Facilitating OPPE and FPPE evaluations.
*  Preparing case studies for presentation to medical staff committees.
*  Supporting committee meetings and documenting outcomes.
*  Sharing data and collaborating on systemic improvement strategies.
*  Maintaining provider quality files and preparing reports for leadership.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

*  Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field.
*  Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
*  Four years of related work experience.
*  Current Washington State RN license.
*  Strong analytical and communication skills.
*  Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (Epic experience a plus).
