Registered Nurse - Inpatient Pediatrics/Resource

Fort Dodge, IA

Part-time, Nights

Responsibilities:

* Assesses and monitors patient needs across all age groups.
* Develops, implements, and updates individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
* Provides nursing care in accordance with standards and care plans.
* Coordinates discharge planning, education, and referrals.
* Documents care accurately and communicates to ensure continuity of care.
* Supports unit operations, professional activities, and resource utilization.
* Maintains safety, follows policies, and promotes a positive patient experience.
* Uses electronic systems for documentation and collaborates across departments.
* Cross-trains and floats to Acute Care as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:      

Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred. 

Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.

Licensure:      

Current RN Licensure in State of Iowa or applicable compact state. Must be licensed in state of residence

Experience:  Must have inpatient pediatrics experience 

Certification/Courses:

CPR, PALS, NRP and 2 hour annual stroke education required.
