Responsibilities: As our Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. Your sense of urgency and dedication to excellence in a fast-paced environment will not only support patient recovery but also fuel your own career advancement. * Provide professional nursing care for patients undergoing chemo and non-chemo infusions and injections * Maintains and provides care of ports and catheters used for infusions * Delivery of quality surgical nursing care to the adult, adolescent, pediatric, and geriatric surgical patient utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) * Comprehensive care of the surgical patient during the pre-op, intra-op and immediate postoperative course for the patient * Providing group and/or individual education/training to cardiac and/or pulmonary patients (and family members) to enable them to bring their cardiac and/or pulmonary disease under control, avoid potential complications, and bring about lasting improvements in quality of life * Assess patient needs and develop an individualized education plan of care to facilitate the development and application of needed skills to positively impact cardiac and/or pulmonary disease management Qualifications: Required * Registered Nurse: MN * Basic Life Support - CPR * Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 12 - months * Oncology Certified Nurse, within 12 - months Preferred * Two to three years of recent acute care work experience
