Overview: Shift: Full Time - 4 Days/Week; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Responsible for the coordination of clinical activities of the Wound Care Center. These include, but are not limited to, utilization of skills in organization, planning, implementing, evaluating, and providing care through the use of hospital and nursing standards Responsibilities: * Prepare patient and assist provider with examination, treatment and minor surgical procedures. * Assists in the delivery of healthcare services and patient care management. * Responsible for obtaining medical histories, wound assessment and treatments, collection and preparation of specimens. * Responsible for medication delivery, scheduling tests, answering telephone inquiries, providing patient education, and performing other duties as requested by physician/provider. * Collaborates with other health care providers, wound care center Physicians, Program Director and Medical Director, regarding clinic and patient needs. Qualifications: Education: * Diploma from an RN program. License(s)/Certification(s): * Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. * Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. * Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * Must possess and maintain ACLS *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
