Responsibilities:

This prestigious award reflects our commitment to providing exceptional care and limiting hospital-associated infections and complications. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Obstetrics Acute unit and contribute to our ongoing success in delivering safe and high-quality care to mothers and newborns.
* Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, assessment, and education.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the team.
* Supervise and delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP).
* Provide guidance and support to team members.
* Utilize electronic health records (EHR) and other electronic applications.
* Serve as a preceptor and role model for new staff and students.
* Adhere to all hospital policies and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse with current California License required.
* Minimum one (1) year current acute care registered nursing experience in specialty area required.
* Minimum 1 year exxpereince on OB Acute Required
* Current certification in specialty area preferred.
* Experience with EHR (Cerner MediTech etc?) preferred.
* Current AHA BLS card required.
* Current NRP Certification required
* LA City Fire Care required within 90 days of hire.
This position is represented by SEIU L121 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
