The Nurse Manager serves as liaison with on-call physicians, community medical providers and independent contractors, while assuring the delivery of quality nursing services in accordance with established nursing procedures.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health California provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Located in Goleta, CA in this role, you would be responsible for providing supervision, direction and consultation to center nursing staff. Additional responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
* Communicating with physician's regarding client's needs, the nursing assessments and recommendations.
* Collaborating with nurses and members of the treatment team to ensure the client's well- being.
* Responsible for hiring and managing nursing staff.
* Performing assessments/evaluations for potential clients and create nursing care plans as needed.
* Teaching medication administration to staff monthly.
* Educating clients, families and others on health, wellbeing and disease prevention.
* Attending residents' meetings as needed, Provides health related update to team and family as appropriate.

Qualifications:
* Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse in California.
* Graduate of an approved nursing school.
* Minimum of 2 years experience providing patient care.
* Supervisory experience preferred.
* Experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses preferred.
