Overview: Now Hiring 2025 New Graduate Nurses with graduation dates in May, August and December. Find your career at UnityPoint in one of the following units: * Cardiac Treatment Unit * Cardiac Stepdown * Cath Lab * Clinical Resource Team (Float Pool) * Emergency Department * ICU * Infusion * Maternal Services (L&D, Mother-Baby, NSCU) * Endoscopy * Recovery Care Center * Mental Health Inpatient/Substance Use Disorder * Acute Med Neuro/Medical Oncology * Surg/Ortho * Surgical Services (OR, Ambulatory, PACU, Recovery Care Center) Responsibilities: Program Highlights A 12-month program to support you in the transition into professional practice. A series of thoughtfully developed sessions that will enhance skills in critical thinking, assessment, leadership and clinical decision making. Participation in this program is a part of the regular work assignment. Connect with other new graduate nurses from across all care areas within the hospital setting. Opportunities to develop evidence-based practice improvements that directly impact your care area. Ongoing continuing education and professional development opportunities. Dedicated nurse educators are available both during and following the program. Nurse Resident Required Program Participation during the 12 month program: Monthly cohort meetings Monthly self paced program content Completion of Residency Project Qualifications: Education: * Diploma from an RN program. License(s)/Certification(s): * Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. * Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. * Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. #RNpositionsQC *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
