Overview: RN, NICU Allen Hospital - Waterloo, IA Part-time, Nights: 7pm-7am Eligible for a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus Shift Differentials: $5.00/hour from 3p-11p, $7.50/hour from 11p-7a, Additonal $7.50/hour weekend differential The NICU is a 10-bed unit caring for neonates from 30 weeks gestation to term with a variety of medical needs. We have 24/7 neonatology coverage. Responsibilities: To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care at Registered Nurse skill level, in collaboration with the Medical Plan of Care, with a minimum of assistance. To function as primary care leader, associate, or charge nurse so that optimum quality of patient care is maintained according to the philosophy and objectives of Allen Hospital. To exercise accountability responsibility, authority, autonomy, and act as a role model and resource person with expanded theory and expertise. Qualifications: Sign-on bonus is available to qualified BSN hires.
