Novant Health is hiring a Same Day Surgery registered nurse for Day/Night shift for our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, NC. We're offering up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus as well as a $7,500 relocation bonus.
* Schedule: FT, .8FTE, Mixed Shift, 2 12's and 1 8 hr shift. Shifts will be mixed hours. Rotation of day shifts with some night shifts.

About the Same Day Surgery Department:
We are looking for an excellent communicator, engaged, self-motivated team player. No less than 3 years of bedside clinical experience. Our unit is busy with 140-160 patient touches a day. 37 rooms which can be either preop or postop. Preop: 1 Nurse to 2 paitents and then 1:1 after first case starts. Post-op 1:2. The patient population goes from Pediatrics to Geriatrics and any kind of surgery in between. BLS and ACLS required, PALS preferred but can be certified when brought on.

Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
* Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
* Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
